cCWCS Small Grants Program

The Chemistry Collaborations Workshops and Communities of Scholars program (cCWCS, www.ccwcs.org) invites proposals for the following activities:

(i) dissemination activities related to high-quality curriculum materials and pedagogies for the chemistry undergraduate curriculum. cCWCS already offers a series of 5-day intensive workshops each summer that make use of lots of hands-on-activities. The aim of this grant program is to encourage other types of (shorter, less intensive) activities.

(ii) implementation of high-quality curriculum materials and pedagogies in classes at their home instruction. Awards are limited to the purchase of small non-consumable items related to implementation of activities related to a cCWCS workshop that the proposer has attended. The awards require matching support from the proposer’s home institution.
