Teaching Interests

I teach organic chemistry to undergraduate and graduate students. At the graduate level I primarily teach a course on small molecule structural characterization, which led to a recently co-authored book of NMR problems. At the undergraduate level, I teach the traditional organic chemistry series to sophomores along with a class that blends the concepts of stereoselective synthesis and spectroscopic analysis of the resulting products.

Research Interests

Marine natural product isolation, structure determination, and pharmacology.
