Teaching Interests: I teach general, organic, and introductory inorganic chemistry in a novel undergraduate curriculum. My institution focuses on the first two undergraduate years, and all of our courses seek to transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries within chemistry, incorporating elements of physical, organic, inorganic, analytical, and biochemistry into every course.
Research Interests: My laboratory research focuses on the synthesis of novel paramagnetic, luminescent transition metal complexes. I also engage in collaborative research in chemistry education, focusing on the effectiveness of novel laboratory curricula.
