This landing page will help you find materials for different sessions of the upcoming online workshop.  All sessions will begin at 1 pm eastern/10 am pacific and will last ~ 3 hrs.  The Zoom link for all sessions is https://ndsu.zoom.us/j/99774159180

  • Work with others who read the same CoLT/LAT to prepare a 5-minute summary of the technique then share your CoLT/LAT with others who will present on a different technique.  (Google Slides)

For the Cognitive Psychology in Teaching session, please be sure to read about your assigned evidence-based learning technique prior to the session. It may also be helpful to review the questions we will use to guide our breakout room discussions beforehand. Assigned readings and discussion questions can be found in the Cog Psych Instructions provided in Moodle. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Katie (kathryn.wissman@ndsu.edu). Thanks and looking forward to our session together.

For the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning session, please read the chapter posted on Moodle, answer several questions on Jamboard (link is provided in Moodle https://courses-archive.centre.edu), and start thinking about your SoTL project. During the session you will have an opportunity to share and discuss this project. Optional readings are posted on Slack as well. Email Alexey (Alexey.Leontyev@ndsu.edu) if you have any questions.
